project manager – camp counselor – customer service representative
Of course Menlo’s project managers need to understand and communicate issues around scope,
schedule, and budget. However, success at Menlo comes from understanding what our clients are
afraid of but don’t know how to say, helping technical team members express their feelings
productively on a daily basis, and being able to effectively demo the products we build in
front of domain experts. Earning your PMP credentials is expected, but our focus is on soft
skills, soft skills, soft skills, critical thinking, and soft skills.

will be based upon how well you and your peers succeed in devising intuitive
user interfaces and communicate them to sponsors and programmers alike.
