Richard Sheridan Selected as
Finalist Entrepreneur of the Year
ANN ARBOR, MI - June 21, 2004 - Menlo Innovations founder and CEO
Richard Sheridan has been selected as one of 5 finalists for the
Technology Entrepreneur of the Year by Crain's Detroit Business. Reasons
cited for the selection include his quick successes in launching a
technology services company even in the midst of one of the largest
technology downturns every experienced by our economy. Richard started
Menlo Innovations in the basement of his home along with three partners.
They quickly grew the firm from an idea about better ways to build
software into one of the more public consulting, development, and
training companies in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Over the past three years Rich Sheridan was able to build an impressive
base for Menlo's Training, Mentoring, and Software Factory offerings.
Menlo's client list looks like a Who's Who of Washtenaw County, and
includes the Washtenaw County Government, Domino's Pizza and ProQuest.
These achievements have been recognized by Crain's as setting Richard
and his company in the top of their field, and serve as a real example
that a better product or service can survive and thrive in any economy.
